Wapakoneta, Ohio (June 5, 2019) – Industrial Property Brokers Principal Tim Echemann, SIOR, CCIM, announced todaythat his firm was the only brokerage involved in the lease of a 46,000-square-foot manufacturing property in Wapakoneta, Ohio. The city is in Auglaize County about 56 miles north of Dayton and 83 miles south of Toledo.
Pusheta Paint and Body, LLC, owned by Michael and Monica Coil (husband and wife), leased the stand-alone building on approximately 8.3 acres located at 851 Industrial Drive in Wapakoneta from WRK Industries LLC. The property was previously occupied by FlexArm Inc.
Started in 2017 yet long-time veterans of the auto painting industry, Pusheta Paint & Body’s principals are currently managing tenant improvements to the building including converting the interior into a state of the art modern paint facility. The facility is going to be in line with the standards of Airstream’s new plant in nearby Jackson Center so the iconic American travel trailer and touring coach maker can offer tours where their coaches are painted. Airstream is Pusheta’s primary customer. Jackson Center is about 16 miles south and east of Wapakoneta. The Coils expect their new facility to be ready for occupancy in July.
The property is at the interchange of Interstate 75 and SR 33, and also close to the Armstrong Air & Space Museum. Wapakoneta is the home town of astronaut Neil Armstrong, the first man to step foot on the moon.
“The momentum and growth of Pusheta’s business combined with Airstream’s long-term commitment to their business played a key role in bringing this transaction together,” said Echemann.
FlexArm Inc. relocated to a new facility in Wapakoneta Industrial Park. The firm broke ground on its new 55,000-square-foot facility at 705 Commerce Drive in Wapakoneta in September last year. FlexArm is a manufacturing components and machinery company specializing in tapping arms, die grinding arms, torque reaction arms, part manipulation arms and helicoil arms. Nick Kennedy is the president of the firm.
