C3 Surplus Breaks Ground on Stage One of Piqua I-75 Industrial Park

Piqua, OH – February 3, 2025 – C3 Surplus, a leading provider of surplus equipment solutions, is excited to announce the groundbreaking Stage One development of Piqua’s Industrial Park. This new initiative represents a significant expansion in the region and demonstrates the company’s commitment to providing innovative, industrial warehousing spaces for lease and/or sale.

Under the leadership of Vernon McCoy, C3 Surplus is laying the foundation for a state-of-the-art facility that will enhance meet the growing demand for industrial space in the area. Stage One of the project includes crucial infrastructure improvements, with construction expected to be completed by late 2025.

The Piqua project, located on a prime 16-acre site, will feature modern industrial buildings designed to meet the demands of today’s businesses. The first 17,800 square-foot building will offer flexible configurations and state-of-the-art amenities that cater to a wide range of industrial needs, including efficient loading areas, high-clearance spaces, and energy-efficient systems. The new build will be ready to occupy September 2025.

Once completed, the full project will include multiple phases, with each designed to provide the flexibility and operational advantages that businesses in Ohio’s growing industrial sector require. The development is expected to create new job opportunities in the region and contribute significantly to local economic growth.

The City of Piqua’s Economic Development Director Chris Schmiesing states, “C3 Surplus plans for the site will be a terrific addition to our community.  The new buildings will meet a market demand for modest sized modern industrial buildings, that offer features prospective end users are looking for when deciding where to locate, grow and expand their business.”
